Disinfecting activity of some diphenyltin(IV) benzoate derivative compounds

Abstract Disinfecting activity test of four diphenyltin(IV) benzoate derivative compounds has been carried out. The investigated were diphenyltin (IV) di 4 aminobenzoate (DPDA) ( 2 ), chlorobenzoate (DPDC) 3 di-4-hydroxybenzoate (DPDH) and di-4-nitrobenzoate (DPDN) 5 they prepared by reacting oxide (DPO) 1 ) with benzoic acid derivatives 4-aminobenzoic (4-HABz), 4-chlorobenzoic (4-HCBz), 4-hydroxybenzoic (4-HHBz) 4-nitrobenzoic (4-HNBz), respectively. well characterized H, 13 C NMR, IR, UV spectroscopies, their pieces defined using microanalytical data. disinfectant was out on two bacteria, Gram-negative Salmonella sp . , Gram-positive Staphylococus aureus. result showed that all the active as a (disinfecting agent) minimum inhibitory concentration × 10 −4 M. Compound found to be most compared others which exhibited ability reduce S. aureus bacteria within min.
